I just found out about a site that is new to me: The Thrift Shopper.com.The goal of founders (who are self-described thrift shop addicts: Michael and Cookie) is to provide readers with the most comprehensive thrift store directory on the Internet. I love the fact that they only list charity-driven thrift stores. At least, I'll feel that I'm doing some good when I shop.
You can meet other thrift shoppers in their forums; post about your thrift finds in their photo gallery - and search for local thrift stores in their directory.I used their directory and found my favorite stores - as well as some new stores that I didn't know about. Their site is a good tool to use when you're traveling and need to find some local shops. We Thrift Shoppers never stop, even on vacation. Check the directory out today.
