On Sunday Post Card Art (SPA), this week's theme is: Robins. I took a little artistic license and used a Blue Bird instead. I couldn't find an appropriate Robin image. And the Blue Bird's coloring just seemed to work better in my post card. I did it all for the sake of Art.
My post card background includes a variety of collage scraps. I highlighted both the scraps and the bird with a purple oil pastel.
Be sure to check out the other post cards on SPA to see if the participants used a Robin image - or stretched the rules a bit like me.

Simply a gorgeous postcard, and in the avian family. Maybe he's just flown in from the North and is still blue with cold! (Sorry, couldn't resist!) Anyway, beautiful work, my dear!
