Good Night Irene

I'm thrilled that Irene has left our area of North Carolina.

We experienced about three days without electricity. We were lucky that we only endured small damages. This was my first hurricane. And the strong, and constant, winds were definitely frightening! It rained for twenty-four hours without stopping. But we didn't have flooding which was good.
