I seem to be attracted to the art of illustrators, of children's books, from the 1920s. I like the 1930s too. Today, I found an illustrator that is new to me: Honor C Appleton (1879-1951). I could not find any substantial information about him on the Web but his illustrations are beautiful and have such a fragile quality to them.
Let me know if you find any biographical information about him.
