I completed this whimsical Art Journal page by adding layers of paint and papers. My goal was to enjoy the process and not overthink the details.
I am continuing my decluttering proces. I sorted through seven, overflowing accordian files of collage paper and ephemera. I ended up with two medium-size folders of papers. I realized that many of the paper items did not fit my artistic style anymore. And I'm embarrassed to divulge that some of the papers dated back to 2008 or earlier.
When I completed the task, a small slip of paper fell to the floor. I picked it up and turned it over to reveal the following words: Make a Wish. Ah, could this be a bit of synchronicity? I added the slip of paper to my Art Journal page as part of the boat's sail.
Today, in North Carolina, we are under a Winter Advisory. So far, we are experiencing rain and a bit of sleet. Stay warm.
