I was just reading Bella Grace and when I turned to this page I stopped amazed to see a yellow bowl just like the one I got when my Grandmother passed. It too was/is used for potato salad and when she was alive held the cake batter for devil's food or lemon cakes and brownies along with so many other delectables from my childhood. My siblings, Mother and I gathered at her home to divide up the memories when my Grandma passed...it actually brought us closer as we graciously bartered so that everyone took home the things that meant the most to them. Thanks for a moment...it prompted me to take a break from reading to go to my kitchen to look at my yellow bowl.
