I've already purchased the Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers (as well as many of the other tempting products in her line).
Still, I wanted to try out a tip she detailed in her book, Beautiful Faces. Jane suggests filling water brushes with Dye-Na-Flow ink and water to make colored ink brush pens.
As an experiment, I purchased one bottle of Hot Fuchsia Dye-Na-Flow ink. I used a medicine dropper to add eight small drops of ink to a water brush and then topped it off with distilled water. I figured that there was less chance of contamination with distilled water. I really love the bright color that resulted from this mixture.
I'll probably be purchasing additional colors of Dye-Na-Flow ink to make more colored ink brush pens.
