For the past few days, I wasn't able to blog because our modem stopped working. We had to wait for our ISP guy to bring us a new modem. They don't work on weekends. It felt very strange not to be connected. No Internet, No blog, No e-mail! I'm so glad to be back online.
Now, back to the title of my post: I have taken a temporary job and I'm currently juggling work, my art and my blog. I know many bloggers work full-time in the real world. (Or is that the offline world?) They easily balance blogging, art and work. I'm still trying to fit it all in. As I come up with ideas on how to do this, I'll include them in my posts.
My first thought is to make small art. Since small art doesn't take much time, I should be able to complete a project in one fast sitting. I always feel a sense of peace, or flow, when I finish an art piece.
According to Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, "Flow is the mental state of operation in which the person is
fully immersed in what he or she is doing by a feeling of energized
focus, full involvement, and success in the process of the activity." (Source: Wikipedia.)
Using flow, fitting it all in and small art, as my goals, I created this ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals). How do you fit it all in?
