I had one of those days yesterday. A printer/graphics software problem took me four hours to resolve. I was also very busy working on custom orders.
So I'm a day late announcing that my new art work is currently available on the PFATT (Primitive Folk Art Trinkets & Treasures) Marketplace site.

Here's a sneak peek of an Eiffel Tower Tin that I am working on for PFATT Marketplace. I already applied two layers of a heavy glaze. Later this afternoon, I'm going to add a third layer.
SIDE NOTE: National Blog Posting Month (NABLOPOMO) continues for the month of November. I must admit that I forgot to post on November 4 because I was in the middle of a big art project. But I did post two times on November 3. Does that count? Just don't tell anyone.
Writing prompts for NABLOPOMO appear nightly, Monday through Friday. Weekends are for free-writing. Even if you didn't sign up, you could still benefit from the interesting writing prompts.

I used a Blog Header (Vintage Newspaper with Bird) from The Graphics Fairy site to create this collage.
I'm thinking of making postcards from this mixed-media piece. I like the positive message that it conveys. We all need to remind ourselves to SOAR! Let me know what you think about the postcards.
I love the look of vintage pink roses so I created this collage to add a shabby chic look to a room. The roses also came from The Graphics Fairy site.
I had a great time creating this little purple sheep. This little guy definitely marches to the beat of his own drum.

I can't believe that it's the tenth day of August already. The Summer is flying by too quickly. The tenth day of the month brings new art at PFATT (Primitive Folk Art Trinkets & Treasures) Marketplace. Here's a sneak peak of my offerings this month.
I usually don't do many Halloween paintings. But I had so much fun creating Glenda the Good Witch that I'm thinking of painting a series of witches. Maybe I'll do a pink witch next. What do you think?

This past month, I really enjoyed working on my art submissions for PFATT (Primitive Folk Art Trinkets & Treasures) Marketplace. All the steps in the creating process seemed to fall into place. There were no last-minute frustrations, like rushing out to the shops for needed supplies - or pieces not working together. Here's a sneak peek:
I spotted this quotation in a magazine and it gave me the inspiration for this mixed-media canvas. The author of the quote, Uta Hagen (1919-2004), was a German-born American actress and drama teacher. I named the little girl, in the canvas, Miss Sparkly.
I began The Sweet Shop by first collaging, and distessing, a wooden frame. That set the tone for a girly-girl, sweet pink art work.
I got my inspiration for this needle-felted Teddie Bear from my own little Shih Tzu puppy named Teddi. All day long, he runs around our home carrying his toys from one room to the next. He always looks like he has such serious business to accomplish.
And we never know when that business will turn into mischief - like when he snags a ball of wool roving from my closet or a pencil from a nightstand. Tia, our seven year old Shih Tzu, just gives him a haughty look when he gets into trouble. She is very self-important - and wants everybody to think that she doesn't stoop to silly games. But she does!
