I enjoy reading Michael Nobbs' blog, with its focus on drawing inspiration. Michael is the creator of the illustrated journal, The Beany. He is also the author of two booklets, 75 Ways to Draw More and Start to Draw your Life which he offers as free downloads. Get more information here.
Well, today I decided to Take the 20 Minutes a Day Challenge. What is it all about? In the words of Nobbs, "The challenge is simple. Pick something you’d like to achieve and publicly commit to doing it. Then regularly (everyday if possible, but at least three or four times a week) work on your project for twenty minutes."
As I've mentioned many times in my blog, I have a goal to sketch (or create a mixed-media art piece) on a daily basis. However, I've never publicly committed to this goal. Announcing my goal publicly makes it more serious - even a little frightening. So here's to Day One of my challenge. So far, I've set a 30 day commitmen. Are you up for a challenge?
