Over the weekend, I finished this Art Journal page. In the past, I always used stitch-bound notebooks, in a rectangular shape, for my Art Journals. This spiral-bound Journal is 12" x 12" - and I'm really enjoying working in this larger format. I also like the ease-of-use that a spiral-bound book provides. No problematic bound centers to contend with.
Art Journaling can be so relaxing. I think it all has to do with the cutting and arranging of images and the thinking that goes into it. It sort of puts you into a Zen state.
What kind of Art Journal do you use? And what do you enjoy about Art Journaling?
I'm just getting started with journaling even though I've been sketching and drawing for years. Currently using a Pentalic spiral bound, sketch book that's 8 1/2 x 11. Working smaller tends to make my work feel a little cramped sometimes.
