Last weekend, our Tidewater Artist Group (TAG) participated in a Tie Dye & Pizza Party at member, Dawn Gallop's home. But we didn't consume a typical pizza. Dawn's husband, Bruce, hand built a Pizza Oven. And he fired it up for the party.
Our members first hand rolled the pizzza dough which Dawn earlier made from scratch. Next, we customized our pizza toppings. And then Bruce baked the MANY pizzas in the oven. It was absolutely the best pizza that I ever tasted.
Later, we tie-dyed every thing - from t-shirts - to onsies - to sun dresses - while our significant others engaged in serious conversation. The female artists were the rowdy bunch. I dyed my t-shirt a Robin's Egg Blue and folded it to create a striped pattern. I love the soft color.
