In the past, when I worked on my art journals, I regularly ruined markers (Sharpies, Paint Pens, Fude pens, etc.) whenever I wrote with them on top of acrylic-painted pages.
When my friends in my TAG art group told me that Posca Pens easily write on top of acrylic paint, I was skeptical. Well, I ordered some Posca Pens and I love them. They do work on acrylic-painted pages.
There is a bit of a learning curve because the pens are juicy with paint. You also have to be careful to make sure the paint is dry before you touch it - or lay your hand over it like I did. All in all, the pens are an excellent product.
I ordered the pens from Japan via Amazon. Since I prefer light colors over primary shades, I ordered the pastel set. I also ordered extra black & white pens because I tend to use these colors for hand lettering.
